Callie Chapman is a graphic designer (web + print), projection designer, arts marketer, and choreographer from Boston. For the past 15 years she has worked as a freelancer tackling many projects that vary from designing a simple website, to organizing and designing a 100+ page membership directory. As a choreographer of Zoe Dance Company, Callie has learned and utilized projection design into her work. In addition to implementing video projection internally, she has worked with Odyssey Opera, Prometheus Dance, and Tabula Rasa on projection designs in a live performance settings.

Christian “Mio” Loclair, creative director at Waltz Binaire, explores the harmonic friction of human bodies, movement and nature colliding with digital aesthetics. Walz Binaire is a creative studio, for human motion in digital design. His award winning art of immersive installations, digital projections and theater performances are shown around the globe, combining expertise from urban and contemporary dance, human computer interaction and digital design. André M. Zachery, director of Renegade Performance Group, is a Brooklyn, NY based inter-disciplinary artist and 2016 NYFA Fellow in Choreography. His artistic-focus frames and layers the aesthetics, conceptions and practices of Black expression through the body and technology. This is in relationship to self-identification, communal understanding, diaspora lineage and non-binary empowerment. RPG has received several residencies, awards and support for its ongoing work. André M. Zachery joins us from Tallahassee, FL.

Maria Takeuchi as ÉMU is a multi-instrumental music producer and artist, based in Brooklyn, originally from Japan. Maria’s synesthetic composition, which appeals to other senses beyond hearing, expresses philosophy and emotion inspired by nature, nostalgia, and friction in the life in abstract, as if to paint on canvas by colored sound. Her sound is easily “visualized” by listeners. Her current project, "as·phyx·i·a" is a collaborative effort and experimental film created with 3D artist and art director Frederico Phillips, performed by Shiho Tanaka. Maria was responsible for co-directing the project and created an original sound track which guided the narrative. Maria Takeuchi joins us from Brooklyn, NY.

Maziar Ghaderi is a Toronto-based multimedia artist whose artistic practice, Playformance lies at the intersection of cultural intangibles (UNESCO's definition), interactive technology and the experiential. Playformance translates reimagined historicized, cultural dances to light and sound in real-time. Maziar's work has been curated in Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax, Los Angeles, Istanbul, Dubai, Abu Dhabi. The merit of his artistic practice and design research has been recognized by the International Symposium on Electronic Art, The Creator's Project and SIGGRAPH. Maziar Ghaderi joins us from Toronto, Canada.

Sidra Bell is the artistic director of Sidra Bell Dance New York, a boutique brand of prolific movement illustrators based in New York City that presents and fosters innovative and progressive dance theater. Her work combines design, media, and fashion creating a singular vision in contemporary dance. SBDNY is rapidly gaining an international profile for work that reveals aspects of the human condition through a distinctly female lens. Her award-winning work and unique creative practice has been presented throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America. Sidra Bell is the current Harvard dance artist-in-resident through the Harvard Dance Department and joins us from New York.
