Last year's design panel explored real impact and desirability in design. The panel was moderated by Dr. Beth Altringer, a Lecturer on Innovation and Design at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the Graduate School of Design, and Faculty Associate at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society.  The panel consisted of John Rothenberg from Sosolimited, Matt Keeter from Formlabs, Sara Hendren, a professor at Olin College, Sarah Mallin from Essential, and Tobias van Schneider, Art Director and Lead Product Designer at Spotify.


The fashion panel explored how entrepreneurs have been able to scale their business ideas and make a mark in today's Fashion industry. Liz Bacelar, Founder and CEO of Decoded Fashion, moderated a panel including Jade Huang, founder and CEO of, Susan McPherson, founder and CEO of McPherson Strategies, Yaniv Nissim, founder of Stylit, and Jill Sherman, founder and CEO of Modalyst. 


The 2015 Film Panel explored the question of how interactive storytelling can offer a new cinematic experience. The panel was led by William Uricchio, Professor, Comparative Media Studies, MIT and featured Christopher Allen, Founder and Executive Artistic Director of UnionDocs, Kel O'Neill, filmmaker with Jongsma + O'Neill, Sandra Rodriguez, filmmaker and scholar, and Jeff Soyk, a freelance creative director/UI & UX designer.


This panel focused on the changing landscape of gaming as the barriers to entry are breaking down for starting entrepreneurial ventures and independent gaming studios. Eitan Glinert, Fire Chief at Fire Hose Games, moderated this panel focusing on entrepreneurship along with panelists Jack Dalrymple, Senior Vice President at Cap and Cut, Justin Pappas, Ape Law's Founder and Creative Director, Sam Butin, Associate Producer at iNK Stories, and Trevor Stricker, President at Disco Pixel.


In a panel called, “New Tech: Threat or Boon to the Music Industry,” panelists discussed the dramatic evolution of the music industry since the dawn of the digital revolution. Panos Panay, Founding Managing Director of Berklee ICE led the panel which also featured Jeff Price, Founder and CEO of Audiam, Kiran Gandhi, Madame Gandhi artist, Benji Rogers, Founder and President of Pledge Music, Sachin Doshi, Spotify’s VP of Content, and Berklee College of Music Associate Professor George Howard.


The 2015 Dance Panel explored how emerging technology is changing the language of dance - from motion capture to AI and beyond. Mimi Yin of ITP/NYU moderated a panel made up of Troika Ranch’s Artistic Co-Directors, Dawn Stoppiello and Mark Coniglio, Motion Bank’s Director, Florian Jenett, the Director and Professor of Deakin University’s Deakin Motion Lab, Kim Vincs, and Brooklyn Ballet’s Founding Artistic Director, Lynn Parkerson.


Last year's Virtual Reality panel focused on exploring current use and creative possibilities of Virtual Reality. The panel consisted of Jessica Brillhart, Principal Filmmaker for Google's JUMP, Rachel Rossin, a Virtual Reality Fellow at NEW INC, Rus Grant, Director of the Harvard University Visualization Research and Teaching Laboratory, and Alexander Porter, Creative Director at Spectacular. Moderation for this panel was done by Michael Naimark, a resident artist with Google VR.


The Visual Arts panel last year looked at how startups, artists, and cultural institutions approached innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship, while democratizing the arts with the use of technology. Moderated by Matthew Israel, a curator at large from Artsy, the panel consisted of Kevin McCoy, CEO of and an artist at Monegraph, the Executive Director of ArtScience Labs, Carrie FitzsimmonsJulia Kaganskiy, Director of NEW INC and Sarah Hromack, the Director of Digital Media at Whitney Museum of American Art.
